• His obituary was published in the Erie Newspaper on 10 Apr 2005 in Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania. Stephen R. Baker, 52, of Rankine Avenue, died, Wednesday, March 6, 2005 at his residence. Arrangements will be announced in a future paper by the Burton Funeral Home, 602 West Tenth Street.

• His obituary was published in the Burton Funeral Home in Apr 2005 in Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania. Stephen R. Baker, 52, of Rankine Avenue, died Wednesday April 6, 2005 at his residence following an extended illness. Born in Erie January 4, 1953, he was the son of Paul H. and Janice Crittenden Baker, of Erie. He had attended Academy High School and was a graduate of Iroquois High School. He also graduated from Penn State University majoring in Finance.
He had been employed at Erie Bearings, Advacom and Kent in inventory control and sales.
He was devoted to his nephews and niece. He enjoyed movies and bowled at the Nouva Aurora Club.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother Douglas of Torrance, CA and two sisters, Judy Baker of Erie and Martha Baker of Uberlingen, Germany, three nephews and one niece, Zach and Jeff Hughes of Erie and Julian and Verena Fibich of Germany. Further survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 602 West 10th Street, Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a service on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Episcopal Cathedral of St. Paul, 134 West 7th Street with the Very Reverend John Downey, Dean, officiating. Internment will be in St. Paul's Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Regional Cancer Center, 2500 West 12th Street, Erie, PA 16505 or the charity of one's choice.
