He was the son of my ancestors, THOMAS NASH and MARGERY (BAKER) NASH and the husband of Elizabeth Tapp, daughter of Edmund Tapp.

In 1665, he was chosen a deputy to the court and commissioner of New Haven. Capt. John Nash was granted 300 acres of land from the court on Oct. 8, 1674.
He was chosen captain of the New Haven forces sent to fight the Dutch in New York in 1673.
Also, in 1674, he was one of three from New Haven who decided on the boundaries between New Haven and Milford.

• He was buried at the Grove Street Cemetery in New Haven, Connecticut in 1687. 2 Buried in the New Haven Green, tombstone along the north wall. Tombstone is either missing or unreadable.
